As a chiropractor, my mind has been opened many MANY times over about our understanding of the physical body and how healing and ease and dis-ease transpire. About 10-12 years ago in my desire to better understand the body, I was also exposed a lot of other types of healers and modalities as well as diving deep into the philosophy of chiropractic as well as a more quantum understanding of the world and energy. It was through many hours of study, seminars, teachers, many books, many mentors that I kept remodelling my understanding of this physical world and our physical bodies.
Now my understanding is that I can not seperate the physical world from the mental, emotional, spiritual world. It is like breathing it is part of life and life carries all these aspects. Our physical body is the conduit the “house” of this energy and is like a tapestry that is “embodied” into form based off the energy (created through thoughts, connections, beliefs, ideas, generational energy, and interconnection with all) and how the energy is moving.
Sounds like a lot to try to understand huh? Basically your nervous system is the clearing house for all of this “experience” both physically what is going on in your world (sitting at a desk, going for a bike ride), but also mental emotional (grief, shame, beliefs, ideas, labels we have accumulated) and the spiritual beliefs and connections as well.
When we say life flows above-down-inside-out. And healing happens – above-down-inside-out —it is because this energy flows through you and co-creates the TONE (frequency, magnetism and electricity) in your system. There by co-creating your life experiences.
So how do you lighten your load? How do you let your cork float? How can you put this knowledge that life happens through you and that your energy (and your attention to it) is one of the most important things you can do for your own life and for humanity.
You stay light. You breathe. Pay attention. When do things feel heavy, can you breathe? When do things get choatic. Can you breathe? Check in on your breathe. Are you breathing? Like really? Or is it very shallow and held frequently?
Find the people that help you create this resiliency. Find the habits that help you create more resiliency. We open up the energy then. The container (your body and system) can allow more energy to flow.
This is how we heal patterns and reactions and the ripples after them. Our energy wheels…open up and can balance. Our life force can flow. We have energy to engage in our life both the hard stuff and the juicy stuff! Growth occurs. Desired change can occur. It’s all connected.
